I personally view it as positive, I still have the love for icrontic.com but will also be participating in promoting short-media. There is no ill will from what I have seen, I like how things have progressed so far and that mostly all involved have displayed a great attitude.:)

Not together but.... You will see many many of the same guys in BOTH places. Many of our mods are mods there. MM and Shorty are two of my best friends on the web.

Love them both. I mean that too.

But they felt it was time to break off and do their own thing and we at icrontic love them and support them. We WANT short-media to be a success ! The only way they will rejoin us is if they fail.... and that will not happen. We here at ICF will fight to help them and make sure they succeed. They are our friends.

I hope everyone has us BOTH marked in their favorites. They are "good folks" as we say down here in Texas.

Best wishs always to short-media ! Kick butt Dudes! We are behind ya 100%

    Love Ya Man

I can be found on both. I really had a sever distaste for the old-icrontic, but so far things have been a 100 fold improvement.

I don't want to own one and the possibility thankfully was removed from my shoulders by CM!! Love ya Tex!! But I am registered at both sites and feel that if I can make a Positive contribution to either or both I will do just that.....at least until they put me in an old folks home and take away my credit cards!!!

I registered with Icrontic in July of last year, and I re-registered on the new site because the guys running it are some of the best in the business. The same can be said for Short-Media, and I registered over there as well...

He was just joking as it seems everyone and his brother is trying to start one nowadays.

I have one besides Icrontic. In fact nightshade..... cough...cough...cough.... My two coders have left it for other projects and I need a coder to help finish it up..... cough..cough..cough....

If you know anyone that might want to take up a project and get it finished? (grin)

I see your point Tex. My attitude in that post seemed really harsh yet it was just a joking approach, I just dont use smilies all the time because it looks a bit girly and silly, but when you dont it seems really harsh and vicious........ not. going. to. be. girly......

Its so hard to convey emotions in a written medium like this... and people can't see me LMAO as I type my smart ass response thats why I stick "(grins)" liberaly all thru my posts to let folks know I am saying it in a good way or maybe pulling their leg a bit or...

    Well you get the point.

So, what do you need coded? I'm learning quite a bit now which can be seen by my site, especially the Amiga games search engine and database system.

Still cant figure out where this damn border is set in phpBB though.

Aranyic was working on a backend for my web page taht would keep me from learning PHP crap every time I posted an article.

Shorty put the first pages together and aranyic strted on the back end. But it would use a DB of some kind so like when we dump news in the news forum it just appears on our front page? Something like that. But I want some of the colors and stuff that shorty used to get something up for me changed and stuff also. Needs a lot of work actually but its similiar to what a site like thsi would need so its good experiance for ya.

    Tex;

So would using a Team Short-Media F@H team sig. in our signature be allright with you then, since Icrontic doesn't have a folding team, and if people are gonna fold, I'd rather they fold either here or there...
  • TexTex Dallas/Ft. Worth
    edited June 2003
You can have any other sites name in your sig here. We are not in and way or form against that. I have mods here with short-media folding sigs btw... GO FOLDERS !

And its not just for folders. If you want another forums image or whatever if its not porno related your cool here. If it is porno related you must give me a free membership and then we will see on allowing it... (grin)

It was more pulling Dans tail a bit over another needless post. 3/4's of Dans posts are borderline spamming.....Like we could not figure out he was registered at short-media when he runs a short-media signature???? Yeah right.

Yeah, sorry about that, I wasn't thinking about my sig at the time.

It also may have been that when I posted at the time, the F@H thing wasn't in my sig.
