oem windows

quick question on how many computers can i use an oem copy of windows, either xp, 2k, etc..? thanks in advance for any help.

    If its the one you don't have to register, as many as you want.

    When its installed, it will ask you to activate windows, then thats the one you have to register/activate

    Oh, and another thing, registering Windows is different from Activating. You don't have to register windows.

    billpicle: ONE machine legally, install it on any other machines and that is illegal as you only have one licence (licence being a certificate to use the OS on a machine) It doesnt matter what machine you install it on as long as its only one machine.

    Windows Corporate doesnt need activating ever, but by OEM Im guessing it came with one of your PC's or something, then it will probably need to be activated.
