best isp for games

What do you guys think is the best isp for games I have aol broadband and it absolutely sucks I get choke ranging from 30-100 like on every server my ping is often 100+ and my aol freezes alot and that is really annoying especially in the middle of cs.

    I use mediacom and it works great..limited area though

    Bellsouth DSL is *usually* quite good for me...been using it for approx 2 years now (1 year in Birmingham, one in Montgomery), although for about 10 days now it's just been disconnect city. GREAT pings in games however.

    Speakeasy.net is dialup, dsl, and T1's "by gamers, for gamers" Might want to see if you can get their service.

    T1's are godlike if you can drop $500 a month. :) 1.5 U/D.

    Been using Charter near Birmingham. They arn't all that bad. I wish I had more upload though :(

    T1 won't do anything for him the side of the game he's on though, you really won't see any improvement over cable or basic dsl playing the game. The T1 would just come into play if he decided to host a server.

    roadrunner is an iffy thing, it depends on how many people use it where you live. for example, i use Austin RR and get 2 mb/s dl rates, but my friend a few blocks away can't get close, because he's on a different "grid"
