Hello all, im currently running an NF7-S, i know its a damn good mobo. BUT im making another system for my house, and i have come across the AN7. confusing.. as it is relatively the same prce, the only differnece i can spot is the Abit 'Guru' feature. Is this the only difference, anyone know of benchmarks? I'd be greatful for some help. cheers.

Read this thread, then make your choice.

Right now, you're better off getting another nf7-s

ah! point taken.. worth waiting a month or two and seeing the outcome then? or worth getting another NF7-S, also what are the faults with NF7-S v1.2? Is it still able to support 400mhz FSB chips, even though it isnt officially rated at that? ive overclocked my 2200+ to 11x220, so i cant see a problem there.

With Abit or Asus the v2.xx is the mobo that goes to and over 200fsb's.
I would not get the v1.xx unless you just don't want or need the high fsb's.
