I literally yelled for joy in the liquor store: Sam Adams' Oktoberfest is back in season! While this means my second-favorite seasonal, Summer Ale, has gone, I am OVERWHELMED that my favorite beer is back! :D:rockon:

3 Oktoberfests + doing an MST3K of Empire Strikes Back + TF2 = awesome evening.

I had bell's oberon and played D&D. Tomorrow: I drink more.

//Edit: I sound like an alcoholic on Icrontic, and I barely drink once every 60 days. :\

Thrax and Keebs are NOT. But they both have excellent tastes in fine beers

Harvest Moon (Blue Moon + Pumpkin) is pretty good.

I had the Pumpkin Spice Ale put out by Annheuser-Busch last week (freebie at Sea World). Disappointingly, it tasted like Budweiser. There was literally no noticeable pumpkin or spice flavor.

I drank it anyway because it was free, but heed my words: avoid this beer.

Sam Adams Oktoberfest is good beer.

If you want a true German Oktoberfest beer, try the Warsteiner Oktoberfest. And you can't have a more authentic Oktoberfest in the US that we have in Cincinnati every year...
