[Work PC 2]Computer extremly slow while doing low resource tasks

This machine is extremely slow after logging in and something that I found strange is when you go to Add/Remove Programs they never load and the window closes automatically.

Also the screensaver came on randomly while I was active on the PC.

    Hi TheHeartSmasher,

Since this is a work PC, I strongly suggest getting in touch with your IT dept. to have a look at the PC.
  • edited October 2007
Forgot to mention it is a small business (22 employees) so that would be the owner. I just give advice on what should be done :D and fix it if it needs fixing. I restored the domain controller from total corruption of the domains core files.

One of the employees asked me why their computer was slow, and they did defrags, etc. Well I went to the second option spyware, malware etc. and it looks like I was right. I'll have to talk with the owner about enforcing application restrictions in the group policy along with website viewing, as these are not coming in by just doing work.
I would like to clean and start fresh with the PCs as they are pretty slow and hard to control what is on them

Are you going to format the PCs, or would you like help with them?
  • edited October 2007
PC1 is fixed do to the help of they spyware team.
I uninstalled the viewpoint media player from this PC and the internet went dead. It had binded itself to the internet connection somehow.

I can't format this PC at the moment I did another scan and I can't remove the Bkdr_delf.duw
    BKDR_DELF.DUW

Which program detected those, and what are the locations?
