    Tips for swaying mom:

    - Have her call Brian to talk about it and learn all the details
    - Remind her an 8 and 10 year-old will be present (Brian's kids)
    - We're serious about no-alcohol-for-minors
    - Brian and I have been on this site for over 6 years, and we still have no criminal records. Yay!

    In the end though, you're 16 so mom rules :ninja:

    CURSES! I can't make plans this far in advance! That's right in the middle of my huge life transition time! Gah!

    So I guess when I'm interviewing for new jobs in the coming months I can say "I know I'll need off from June 18-23 for a 'family reunion'" and they'll be cool with it?
