Suggestions of external HD enclosures needed

I'm in the market for an external HD enclosure. The manufactured normal ones, WD, Maxtor, MyBook and whatnot is tempting, but at the same time, incredibly expensive per gb if you compare it with putting in your own disk of choice to an enclosure. Now, this god forsaken country i live in doesn't really flow over with external enclosures. Sure, there are some, but i'd like more choices.

What i would want is a enclosure that have many if not all connection possibilitys. Looks doesn't matter as long as the enclosure isn't as big as a computer case. It shouldn't be pink either.

Sata interface is a must. Can't be arsed to go and buy an IDE drive in the year of soon to be 2008. USB2, and firewire is a must. Passively cooled is a must too. eSata as well would be a huge bonus.
