SMP as a service

Anyone have a lead on how to get this going again? I had it going but disabled it so I could install my new video drivers w/ peace of mind. Once I rebooted and re-enabled the client to run as a service it wouldn't.

So I believe I just need to go through the steps again. Anyone?

SMP as a service has always been buggy at best and unsupported fully, at least last I heard. The newest official installation guides are here, though. Should help you out if they're on top of it. I know the MPI version has a section on running it as a service.

I know all this but ...I've never had an issue with it til now. I'm still hunting for the exact spot where the service instructions take place. I think I need glasses ...srsly.

You can allways choose the VM option and have it start automatically, service like.
