Not sure if this is where these things go..

but I've just joined up and downloaded, followed the guides, blah blah blah :P

This all looks very interesting, I plan to expand my folding to another computer as well soon, possibly a few more :)


Anyway, as I have just started, a few questions-
How come I keep getting stuck at "Completed 0 out of 2000000 steps. (0%)
Am I doing something wrong?

Also, how are points valued?

    Stuck? What feedback are you seeing to represent this? How long has it been running?

    As far as point value goes, I believe the WU's are dropped on a benchmark machine and given a value based on the time it takes for the benchmark machine to complete it.

    Well, Im looking at the console and the line that has been showing up for maybe 15 minutes is Completed 0 out of 2000000 steps. (0%)
    That made me figure i was stuck :P


    Thank you for clarification on the points, so they are basically awarded for how fast and how many WU (Work units?) a computer can complete?


    Edit: just completed 20000 lol nevermind! Thank you for the consideration!

    Yup, it just takes a little ;) Points are awarded per unit that you complete and turn in. You can track it all over here: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_list.php?s=&t=93

    :) I've been around for awhile but Id rather keep this account fresh to prevent old grudges, thank you for the welcome!
