I just built a new system for my job, and upon loading windows xp on it, all the boot up works fine, except it gets to the boot menu, and stops. at the bottom it says...Verifying DMI Pool Data......... and it locks up! Is there something missing here? Is there anything I could have done wrong during setup? Should I reload windows again?

Thanks for the advice in advance! :respect:

Need more info.. list the hardware please.

Also.. sounds like a stick of ram is bad. Remove all but 1, test each stick to see if it passes this "hang up".

Well, that would explain why it wouldn't load! Have fun on your new system :)

P.S. - I would highly recommend you to upgrade to Windows 7 when it comes out. I have been using the RTM for a good month now and you won't be disappointed!
