Something weird happened to my flash drive

I was messing with my 8GB PNY USB flash drive, formatting it in exFAT, FAT32 and NTFS to see which gave it the best amount of storage area (FAT32 is the best, less wasted area) when I noticed the following in the device description (which never used to be there):

果舖創意股份有限公司
OPEN小將不掉蓋隨身碟 4GB-Windows 7上市紀念版
Windows 7
USB flash drive

Which according to Google Language tools translates to:

Fruit Shop Creative Co., Ltd.
OPEN teenager can not afford to build Flash Disk 4GB-Windows 7 public Commemorative Edition
Memorial version of Windows 7 launch
USB flash drive
OPEN teenager body shape, not afraid of magic designed to cover loss
Nano anti-fouling Department mile, anti-static, two-tone green silicone can be washed

Attached it the screenshot showing the description and the logo that is now used for it:

I had it set on auto language detect (which detected that as Chinese).

This is the translation you get in Japanese:
    Creative Correction舖crotch fruit Co., Ltd
Memorial Edition 4GB-Windows 7 launch
Memorial version of Windows 7 launch
    USB flash drive
OPEN molding將一España small child lost magic designed not怕蓋

NTFS is the least amount of wasted space. Not FAT32.

    My answer remains unchanged.

I was considering the fact that formatted as FAT32, there is only 4KB of used space, NTFS has 67.7MB of used space (I forgot what its called that NTFS does to use space)

I'm guessing NTFS does this for redundancy to recover bad sectors. Also, what exactly is exFAT, and how is it different from standard FAT?

Oh, found out what that usage is, its NTFS's Metadata that is essentially a log of file activity on the drive.

It doesn't really explain what happened to the drive. (perhaps its the certain version of Windows 7 I have installed)

What I really wanted to know is if there's a way to fix this drive's firmware to get it back to normal?
