I like peer guardian and use it on my mac and XP or vista 32, but since I have my box up with win 7 X64 I cant get it to work, What is a friendly X64 alternative?

I have been using peerblock for a while. It seems pretty stable too.

I hope people know that programs like PeerBlock and PeerGuardian are pretty much a placebo.

Pulling out isn't very effective either but some say it's better than nothing, no? :D

    GW,
I have PG working on 64-bit Vista. There are workarounds. PM me and I'll send you the info.

Pulling out means you were there in the first place, and that's always good.

I'm not sure your analogy is holding up at this point though....

If you really want to stop stuff block it at the dns level with OpenDNS. The free version will give you lots of control and paranoia levels. If you want even more control then that the paid version will do that nicely.
