    If you wanted to thin out your employee base in the US, you could just threaten to implement these. I'd estimate a 30% jump rate at least for some businesses.

    But, as the article also states: The culture in Japan is completely different than here. Everything is for the company, and if one does not work to their full potential, it is to their own shame.
