Wicked. I've seen As I Lay Dying twice live, though never headliners. But both times they were amazing. I'd love to see them headlining a concert so I could hear them do a full set. Hopefully they'll do some Canadian dates for the new album.

I've just found the most remarkable artist. He goes by the name Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer. This megamix does well to showcase his repertoire.

Canti, I'm appalled that you would call that mainstream, lol.

4 or 5 of those bands have songs on guitar hero or rock band. Dimmu and Lamb of God have had MTV music videos for years. Dethklok is a caricature of heavy metal bands from a cable network cartoon. Gwar, not mainstream? Really?

Some of that stuff is still pretty low key. Immortal, until their end, and Emperor have remained pretty true to black metal.

They're my favorite two black metal bands. :)

Also, this whole "rockband is stupid because its not like playing a real guitar" thing is a rediculous statement.

This game was not ment to be a supplement or replacement to instruments. Its exactly that, A GAME! It's meant to be play with friends, when you're drunk, and won't remember how stupid you looked the night before.

I dunno I took his advice and applied it to other genre's as well. I've since picked up a sniper rifle, a katana, a 44 auto-mag and some leather chaps. I can tell you he may be on to something there...
