Interesting. 100 dollars is not too far out of the range of quality gaming headsets for the Xbox 360. And wireless is a nice option.

I wonder if this could be used as a skype headset with an xbox controller and a receiver for windows. Do you still have the review unit, Prime?

Not really for me, since the last time I used a headset was when 1 vs 100 was on. (Please come back!)

I had SO much fun with 1 vs 100. I completely forgot about it until now.

Yep, I still have the review unit. Windows won't recognize the mic if it's plugged into the controller; you'd have to get an adapter to step the mic up to a standard audio jack size.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but the infrared setup is designed more for couch-to-TV range instead of "at my computer desk" range. The transmitter would have to be right in your face, essentially.

Couch to TV is how I compute.

    Mac Mini G4
    P4 Dell Ubuntu box
    Samsung 50" 1080p Plasma

    Way better than a desk!
