    That article is borderline ridiculous. They make it sound like the root DNS servers of the world are these super secret facilities. They make the whole system sound like an intricate video game plot full of quests for the keymasters!
    It's a bunch of hooey isn't it? DNS is redundant and clustered, even the root servers. The Internet would still exist as a network with DNS too. It would just be a lot more difficult.

    Not typically. Your post isn't so much a Troll as it is just a sucker. Troll would have been you really flaming off at the original poster or some other more significant reaction. You just got hooked as being slightly alarmist.
