Hey guys,

I just rooted my Motorola Android (On 2.2.2) and I am trying to flash it with Cyanogen but whenever it tries to boot into Cyanogen Recovery the screen is just black and the backlight is on. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Motorola Android what? Droid? Droid X? etc.

Oops, I meant to say Motorola Droid, not Motorola Android. Sorry 'bout that

Did you flash Clockwork Recovery from ROM Manager before attempting to reboot in recovery mode?

    Yep, and it states:

    Current Recovery: ClockworkMod 2.5.0.1

And what happens when you press "reboot to recovery" from within ROM Manager?

The phone turns off, and then the backlight comes back on but there is nothing on the screen

Try reflashing clockwork from inside ROM Manager.

I ended up having to flash my phone twice. Try just normal reboot, flash CWM, then reboot into recovery.

I reflashed it again (For the 3rd time now) and it still reboots to a blank screen with the back light on. Although when I press the power button it reboots the phone back into normal.
