So my roommate's boyfriend, Chad, has been having some problems with his computer. He said that he had a virus, and was having problems getting rid of it, and needed a good virus program. He also said that he'd used Spybot and Ad- Aware, but they hadn't helped. We had a conversation that went something like this.

"I used Spybot and Ad-Aware, but they didn't help!"

Me, "Well, those are mostly for spyware removal, I think. I would recommend AVG as a virus program, but you can always as Dan (Xinshadow on the forums, my boyfriend) for help too, he's a computer guy,"

So Chad went and talked to Dan for a little bit.

The next day Chad comes up to me waving his arms enthusiastically. "Wow!! Dan is great!! The virus program he told me to use fixed everything!! My computer works again!!"

Me, "Which virus program did you use?"

Chad, "AVG,"

Me, "Oh...you mean the one I told you to use...first?"

Chad, "Oh....uhh...you did?"


Sigh...well at least I was right!
