The folding banners? Yes? LP has them! Me want! Me want! Unless of course he made it himself and the rest of us will just have to wait :-\.

    Mine's homemade :D

I spent 3 hours in Notepad coding the PHP...

It's hosted on my .com server, and I have plenty of bandwidth to be used.... _BUT_ it is file driven (vs. database) and loads 20KB of data each time it's called... not exactly the best way to do it. I lack MySQL access on the server so it must be done that way. I do however have a database version that's in the works incase I talk my mom into upgrading my account

It was coded for me and a few local friends to use... and only comes in 2 picture flavors and the alignment is locked at the moment. I may or may not continue to add appearance options depending on my luck with getting MySQL.

I'll allow people to use it in a couple of days once I make sure it's solid.

Yeah, first thing I did was pull up the guy's sig code to see how he'd done it... only to find myself foiled :p

    Looks nice, park :)

The "official" ones are coming... soon... I swear... :p It's just that the sig "soon" is slightly after the milestone server "soon" which is slightly after the team site "soon"... yeah.

Yeah, I've had to resort to a very odd encoding to pass off the username you want... Had to account for those using quotation marks and other odd characters that don't pass well.

It's not hard to crack if you study it for like 5 minutes....

Crack it, and you can use it tonight... :D Otherwise, It'll be probably tomorrow or the next day before it's "public"..

    For those who crack it....

To change the background .... bg=(1 or 2)

    Background 1:
    1.gif

    Background 2:
    2.gif

    Corners are the only difference....

I was thinking of all these things, and it just suddenly popped into my head! I started looking at the necessary charts, and started scrolling down...

    80.97... It all matched!

    GENIUS. Pure genius.

Bah I dont know the numbers. I see each set corespond to a letter but there your guy's names dont give away enough letters.

Ahh yes I remember. ASCII charts. Goog ol' google.

    I thought:

    Decimal
    Ascii
    Hex
    Octal
    Binary

I tried every one of them until it suddenly dawned on me that it could be nothing BUT decimal, as the numbers were too large and not typical of any other system.

The cat's out of the bag. Such a plan Park, I'm seriously awestruck at the puzzle it posed. I wish I had more things like this to figure out.

Yeah Thrax the first place I went to was the calculator. None of those gave me the whole alphabet tho. What got me flubbered at first was Park's k and Keeblers K. They were different and then I remember the ASCII chart and that caps are different.

Great work Park, the banners and sig generator look fantastic.:)

It's been a bit of a long road getting everything coordinated but all the tools have came through now and are in the process of getting everything going on the sig front as well as all the other goodies we used to enjoy.

    Bandwidth used before release: 20MB
Bandwidth as of 5:20 PM (CST): 32.93 MB

13MB in 17.5 hours... you guys are great  :p 16 users I think I've counted... My most used PHP script ever  ;D

WuGgaRoO: It's only a temp solution, and I doubt I'll add support for custom pictures. Who knows though, I may get bored and go for it...

    Nice job, Park_7677.

I feel a little guilty using your creation - are you sure you don't mind?

    I like my sig now.
