    I think I played batman maxed out, crysis almost maxed on a GTX570/465 (mostly for folding, but on games that can use physx dedicated card I have it on for that as well) and a quad core proc without a problem. Now its an i7-2600K that I haven't OC'd yet but that would just make it better. I need to get my system OC'd and put it through benchmarks...

    I haven't met a game yet that has brought my system to it's knees. And my PC is two years old... (with the exception of the GTX 670)

    Now I have met a game that was configured so poorly (AMD drivers or Bioware fubar) that it only got 20fps with a 6970 crossfire config, and that was SWTOR. Turning off crossfire the FPS doubled.

    I have had issues with bf3 and got a refund from ea. The issue was there interface called battle log. when i could play bf3 i had no issues.

    Sleeping Dogs and DiRT Showdown will both cripple a system at 25x16.

    If you're playing at 1080p, you really aren't pushing the limits of a modern GPU.

    I remember when doom3 first come out poeple were saying it was 5 years ahead of its time. the gf 6800 gt or the x800 could barly do high settings.

    That's the real rub. I don't really have an incentive to go to 25x16 though so I'm happy with my current rig.

    I know you mean 1920x1080 and not 5760x1080 :)
