NEED HELP WITH BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!!

Hi everyone I am having some serious problems with the notorious BSOD and was hoping someone here could help me out.

I am running Windows XP SP2 and the specs of my PC are: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.66GHz and 3.00GB of RAM.

I have been receiving the BSOD for about a month and have tried uninstalling the last few installed programs however this does not seem to have had any effect.

The occurrence of the BSOD seems to be happening at random times with my computer lasting anywhere between a few minutes and a number of hours before I get the BSOD.

The message I get from the BSOD is as follows:

Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

***STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x0002B995,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xB67B05A1)

***RT61.sys - Address B67B05A1 base at B6790000, Datestamp 42a19999

Some of the numbers change slightly each time I get the BSOD but it is always 0x000000D1 and RT61.sys

If anyone could please help me out it would be greatly appreciated as my computer is basically inoperable.

Regards David.
