Hello folks, i am new to tech stuff. I used to work an an AMD system built by a friend of mine. I usually like to do audio and video editing. So -- audio quality is important for me. Are there any recommendations for an upgrade? I actually also play Battlefield and crysis once in awhile.

here's my spec. Intel Core i7 Processor 4770K

myBudget will be 200$, and I am also looking for gaming headset...

Motherboard for 4770K is a Z87 chipset, socket 1050 (IIRC) and we usually recommend Gigabyte. So let's see-- are you saying $200.00 for the motherboard, I hope? AMD systems use vastly different motherboards, different sockets, different shipsets, so replacement motherboard.

AND, with new boards come often new power supplies. Plan on one, please.

If you already have the i7 and a motherboard, I'd say just pick up a sound card. Asus Xonar line tends to be well regarded.
