    As always, the integral of a derivative over a region is equal to the value of the function at the boundary. As in the case of the divergence theorem, the boundary term is itself an integral, specifically a closed line integral.

    Or, the integral of the gradient of a vector dotted with a differential area over a surface is equal to the closed integral of a vector dotted with a differential length.
