Repairs to Gaming Headset

I got a pair of turtle beach PX22 headset that my son got a hold of and the mic is dead. Is there anyone that is going to the expo that can go so tinkering to get them working again??

    If it's just a broken wire I may be able to help. I'm handy with the solder. Sometimes companies coat wires with an anti corrosion coating which is hell to resolder. I'd be glad to give it a lot though.

    I will try to remember to bring my solder and iron @Sonorous‌, if you don't want to pack yours. Actually I should have it anyway, I always bring my toolbag.
