    Not at all surprised.

Every fandom gets a documentary, movie, book, or some other form of recognition. This is just another in a long line (Though considering that this is merely 2 years after the shows creation it's occurring at a far faster pace than other fandoms which is cool too.)

I'm kind of terrified of this prospect.

Hmmm, yes something could go horribly wrong I suppose...especially considering the larger community.

....Crap disregard my indifference this probably shouldn't happen...

We should collectively come up with a $5,000 contribution in order to get Bobby interviewed in the documentary.

For those that don't know the connection, John de Lancie (Q on ST:TNG) is the voice of the character Discord on MLP:FIM. Discord is actually based off of the Q character and has been described as a "monster version of Q" by one of the writers of FIM.

Problem is, has anyone at all looked up the director they picked? http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0110675/#Producer

Dude's the well-known director of such hits as
    -I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant (TV series) (supervising producer - 23 episodes, 2009)
    - "Mostly True Stories" (2002)
    - Return to Area 51 (2002) (TV)
    - UFO Over Illinois (2000) (TV)
    - Area 51: The Real Story (1997) (TV)
    - Unit 731: Nightmare in Manchuria (1998) (TV)
-"Busted on the Job: Caught on Tape" (1996)

This won't go badly for anyone at all.

I can't believe there was someone that donated 10K to this. MLP is awesome but not 10K awesome.
