Axial Fans

Hey!

Do any body have a setup with this kind of fans? I saw some new Thermaltake product, an axial fan.. any feedback on this?

    Uh, your regular case fan is an axial flow fan. Are you talking about that blower fan/axial flow fan kit maybe? Attached is a pic of the blower fan:

    You arent referring to a Tip Magnetic Fan, are you? They are found on thermaltake products, as seen here on the TR2-M2:

    Axial fans are standard case fans. High flow, extremely low pressure, and totally incapable of pulling a meaningful vacuum or pushing against any kind of backpressure.

    "squirrel cage" fans are the kind that that coolermaster aero heatsink uses. They flow less air than axial fans do, but at much much higher pressures, they are not nearly as easily perturbed by backpressure or vacuum as axial fans are.

    Vantec also makes the same TMD fan heatsink.
