well after doing some research, i'm pretty sure that it was Spyware Shooter that added it, because SS adds all the Domains into my registry and thats where it was found. i unistalled SS and nothing was found when i did a scan. phew! and i am happy!

Spyware Shooter will create those false positives. Spybot isn't recognizing the 'restricted zone' part of the key for some reason so it thinks that it was created by CWS spyware.

after i uninstalled it, i reinstalled it and it found waaay more things. is this only happening with my computer or is it known problem? i would like to have SS on my computer, i just don't want to be pestered with false results on spybot.

What are the other things that it found? You can ignore them by checking the boxes next to them and selecting the 'ignore' option.
  • edited July 2005
NeedEdware, and 16 instances of Coolwwwsearch.

Fix those entries and your log will be clean.

Maybe spybot's new detection files are more sensitive than their old ones. You don't seem to have any spyware on your computer. Are all of the entries that Spybot is detecting in the registry?
  • edited July 2005
those two things are for my virus protection. i don't know why it says "file missing".

and all the entries are found in the same spot, ZoneMap > Domains. SS adds that to my registry.
