Need Help Upgrading

I'm going to upgrade pretty much my whole PC. I've got a $1,000 budget and here's what I've picked out so far:

ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI Motherboard - $145
Antec TRUEPOWERII 550W Power Supply - $80
AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Orleans 2000MHz HT Socket AM2 Processor - $115
Western Digital Caviar SE WD2000JS 200GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - $75
eVGA Geforce 7900GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - $270
Subtotal: $685

I'm not set on brand for the video card (or model really). I just want to spend around $270 - $300.

This leaves about $300 left over for RAM and possibly better parts (CPU) than what is listed above. I'd be content with 1GB of RAM. I don't really need 2, do I? I primarily use my PC for gaming. I'd prefer not to have to overclock, but I'm no stranger to it so if you know of better parts that OC well, please recommend them.
