Small Query re Desktop Icons

Hi guys/gals,

I'm in work at present and the other day my screen flickered a little and then came back to normal. Upon it's return I noticed that there is a blue jaggard outline on several of my icons (screenshot attached with blue arrows pointing them out).

Now I know they weren't there before and they are not like that on my PC at home.

I don't know what the hell I have done but if you can give me some advice on to how to get rid of the blue section I would appreciate it as the unclean look is just whicking me off!

Thanks in advance guys/gals!!

Right-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced tab

Click the "Settings" button under "Performance."

make sure "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" is checked

    hope that helps....

    If all else fails, try:

    sfc /scannow

    from the run box.
