contant crash dump

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is put in teh right place but whenever I play Worldwide Soccer Manager 2007 I get an error message saying: "A serious error was encountered and the application will close. An error file has been generated in: Shenendoah/C:/documents and settings/frank/my documents/sports interactive/worldwide soccer manager 2007/crash dumps." Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Is it just a bug within the game or is it a problem with my computer? Thanks!

    Do any other games of yours crash?

    no...just that one. That is the only game I play with a CD though. The only other games I play are either online or games that came on the computer.

    Have you updated it to the latest patch?
    You'll have to sign up to the site to DL it.

    yes...i have the most up to date version. This has seemingly just started happening in the last couple weeks or so. It was working fine before that. I cannot open the error file that it said it generated because windows doesn't recognize the file. I tried defragging, disk cleaning, closing all programs, and checking teh program with my AVG. NOne seem to do anything.
