So.. Cheap good laptops?
Lifes going alright, things are slowly balancing out, still broke as a joke, desktop is still busted (roomates broke it) almost had a website done on the laptop.. someone stole it.
All in all, been worse. Should be able to afford a new one soonish.
But I mean nothing fancy.
So... I poseth, my questioneth.
Whats the cheapest range for a laptop that will effectively run Photoshop / Illustrator / Dreamweaver / Lightroom (And no, I dont expect all at once) and also a must: Capable of efficiently playing EVE and or WoW on it as well.
For as cheap as is fricking humanly possible.
I get the feeling what you guys'll recommend will be in the 600 - 1k range, as thats what I figure laptops that are that good cost. Sadly my budget will be like 300-500 max area for it.
Anyone got any particulars that come to mind? Or am I straight hosed? XD

Edit for an actual link. Decent MSI laptop - $580
Its sad, for the price of a mediocre laptop, I could have a fairly powerful desktop, and I dont have either right now. But I really need the mobility due to the work situation. Meh.
Thanks again, to both of you. XD Even if one is just quibbling. >.>
For $579 that is respectable.
It's refurbished, meaning it was already RMAed once, and probably will not be covered long by warranty. Also, it has less graphical power than the one I linked.
It won't break records, but for $429 its a square deal with enough hardware to get you working.
More inclined to agree here. Not much video power, but it's new, and it's definitely got a good price tag.
Yeah, I went to retract once I saw the refurb, you are right, I would not buy that either. Freaking Tiger Direct..... I should know better.
