Only time will tell, but since they've got the talent and buckets of money, they may yet make another Shattered Horizon style game to prove their chops. Probably not anytime soon, though.
FGS is made up of people just like us. Community PC gamers. Hell, I'm pretty sure some of the FGS guys are Icrontians. They not only made games for online communities, they loved the culture.
Call me cynical, but I doubt Rovio has the same chops. They started off as an iOS developer. They made it big. They themselves want to be the "next Disney". The people who are going to work for Rovio are now just going to become part of a huge machine that is out for domination of the entertainment world, not a PC gaming company who makes games because they love gaming.
