How to Pass Win2k Login?

Does anyone know a way been trying for a while now dont really understand it but if anyone can give me an idea of where to head then please do

lol im at college trying to get a bit of work done, PC wont load up recovery disk or anything and its really old lol :P

so next thing to do i thought was bypass the login.. ive tried all the different combo's like administrator no pass etc

all domains still doesnt work have checked a few web sites but it's all jibberish to me lol

Can you help?

That thread there has a link in Necropolis (2nd post down) to an .ISO image you can burn to give you a password reset utility for the local adminstrator account.

The good old Linux boot disk. That thing has saved me many, many hours of re-builds (just dont tell the people who are paying me this )

its not actually a boot disk tho is it?

jsut a list of commands and the original OS Disk

You are following these instructions arnt you?

Download the software to make a boot cd. Then follow the instructions on the site.

Because it is a boot disk you download that lets you change the local admin password.
