DELL BIOS research project - Your help is needed.
Hi.
Because of many people need help in modifying their BIOS, another persons and me decided to begin with:
DELL BIOS research.
But we need your help:
If you have a DELL computer/mainboard/notebook with an onboard graphics card then you are really important.
What you can do to help.
Dump your DELL BIOS and the VGA BIOS from the DELL's Onboard graphics card.
In other words:
Built an image or a copy from your DELL BIOS and VGA BIOS.
How to dump the DELL BIOS.
1.)
Download the "Phoenix Winpflash Utility".
For example from here:
ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/utilities/winphlash/winphlash-utility.zip
After this, install and run the "Phoenix Winpflash Utility".
2.)
Choose: "Backup BIOS only"
3.)
It sounds weird and crazy, but take any PhoenixBIOS update,
for example from acer:
ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/extensa_3000/bios/3a06_intel.zip
You can also take any other (256K/512K/1024K) Phoenix BIOS updates.
4.)
Extract and add the .wph file from the mentioned
example BIOS file: 3a06_intel.zip to the: "Specify new BIOS file" -field
and choose: "Advanced settings".
5.)
Then deselect all clickboxes and press Ok.
6.)
Now press: "Backup BIOS"
7.)
Accept the following message/ info dialog box...:
...and go on with backup your BIOS.
8.)
When backup process is finished...
...you sould see the BIOS dump...
Finally, you can send the BIOS file to me.
[compressed!!! (rar3 -> progressiv or zip ->both in/with highest compression)]
How to dump the VGA BIOS.
(VGA BIOS from onboard graphics card from DELL Computer)
1.)
Download and unpack:
http://bnobtc.pix-art.com/bnobtc-files/dumpvgabios.rar .
Now, with the help of the .exe or .img file you can build a bootable disk which dumps the VGA BIOS to the floppy disk while boot
or
you unpack the .dbg & .bat files to your desktop and run:
all .bat-files.
After this you should see:
-vgabios.bin
-vgabios2.bin
-100000.bin
on your desktop.
Compress/pack them with winace, winzip or winrar or... and send the files to me too.

I sent you a PM about this, but just in case you see this first...
Just wondering if you are still supporting this endeavor with the Dell Bioses.
I have an Inspiron 1000 that I need to get functioning with a P4 m EIST, but the bios does not know what that is, so it is locked
Anyhow, let me know. Thanks.

The former employee changed the passwords for a reason. We will presume you are looking to simply use Windows on the computer because if you were asking for our help getting to the information on the computer then you would be breaking the T&C of the site asking for us to help you hack.
You will want to look into a format and reinstall or a restore of windows on the computer. Once you have a fresh install, looks like you will have a nice system there.
