Free yourself from Floppies!

Okay, I haven't had a floppydisk in my computer for a real long time. I can remember having one back when I had a 400mhz, but that was it. Though I admit I have been lucky not to run into many hardware problems, I have friends who followed my example and unfortunatly do have hardware problems. Because of this I was sorta sucked into finding solutions for people who need floppy drives and don't have em. Basically, today, I found the holy grail of such things:

http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/

With that utility there is no reason to have a floppy disc drive in your computer. Uninstall it and save the system resources.

Only reason I need a floppy drive is to perform a BIOS upgrade. Some flashers require write access to a drive in order to write a log file.

same here, except I do recall saving a few word/power point files last school year, oh wait, and of course the folding stuff to sneak onto other peoples computers. :jelly:
