Floridian Meeting: Icrontic North vs South War

As we already know this started in another thread. so I am creating one for it. How many other would like to meet for something her in fl. I know I can probably be able to drag reddragon into it and maybe dogdragon (even though I owe him money) lol inside thing sorry. ps it will be paid on Friday.

considering both me and blue live in longwood and crazy is only about 1/2 away, orlando-ish owuld be nice, how bout at a LAN center? I know of a good one called gigabits. I havent been, but the owner is really nice, i met him at the first otronicon when i was volunteering with my local lcan center (which has closed since then RIP)

I would be in (Blue you do owe me)
I'm coming March to see Heart (yeah one of them old groups)
So if I can go to Orlando for that I would come to see other
Icronticans.
This sounds Great besides it's a way to get back at those
Michigan people always partying up there.
We need a party down here so get a date thrown around that
we all can make it, and let's show them Northerners how the
South can party.

Hey and Blue your house is big enough for at least 20 (sleeping inside)
and you have a cable connection and a big back yard.
So if we use your place it would save the others the price of the
hotel for the weekend.
Also no one would have to drive after the partying starts(no DUIs and
no one gets hurt)
Hey if we network your connection we can GAME against them
Northerners.
That would be too cool the South against the North a Southern up
rising in Game.
But the IC Headquarter will need to have people able to be in
IC Headquarter and partying too.
So how about Icrontic's 1st St. Patrick's Day Party

I will only be up for the night of the gaming and staying the night that night, Gotta little girl to take care of the rest of the time, BUT I got the OK and will def be there for the North vs South brawl!

I checked with Gigabits and it's good there. We still need to work
on where people staying and what game is going to be played.
I'll post more as soon as I know. Trying hard to make this work,
it kinda came out of the blue with BlueDragon so I have to talk
more with him.

well since my 2 story house is shaped like a barn it will diffenatly be the perfect place to house all of the Icrontic Animals.
It is a 6 bedroom, 2 bath, large FL room, 3 beds, 3 couches, two fridges, two complete floor setup with a large fenced yard by city standards.
As dog said cable coonection with wifi for those who wish to bring laptops for the over nighters. Fair warning my fiance is the queen of this castle. (but is realy looking forward to this event) As for the over nighters the more the marrier so come one I'll fit all. Just let me know the who and the when and you never know with you guys so also the EmergenC contact #

why just TF2? lets mix it up a bit!

lets do best 2 out of 3 TF2, first map being ctf_2fort, second being ctf_silo, and the third being the new map =)

Maybe 4 v 4 on an RTS? Dawn of War is a really good one...and CS:S is really good for team tactics. Lets try and make the games all around so that its not stacked for uber fps players or uber anything else, but even =)

aye, true. I guess we could always have "skirmishes" besides the TF2 battle if we can =) but what about map rules? im making a new dedicated thread in the life n events board for the event.

QUICK UPDATE ON SPACE

There is also enough room for seven (7) 4-man tents in our backyard.

Camping weather is great right now, and you know you can't say the same about up North!!!

20 inside 28 outside Prime, Blue has the room you have up there
in that COLD place.
A winter get away something to think about you need

For those who will be coming down to the "Dragons Lair" :-) in central FL, and needing accommodations. Please contact us (BlueDragon or myself) via PM so that we may accommadate your needs, and make sleeping arrangments for the 3 day event. Please Bring bring your own Blankets, Pillows, and any other needs. This is "a bed with no breakfeast" ;-) lol !!!
