on Valarius
and
http://speed.travian.co.uk/berichte.php?id=15569084
on me

almost simultaneously...

i'm not sure if it's a coincidence, but either way he'll think i'm weaker than i am, since most of my army was out raiding.
and i think i should recall the 1000 defending units from my croppers, and prepare for the worst.
if attack warnings come, it'll be be quick since he's close.
but i'll let you know if that comes.

both the scouting parties are close by to me and the other member in question.
if it is to see our troop counts, its wrong since over 3/4 of the army is defending croppers or raiding inactives... :(

Yeah, I just find it weird that they both scouted you guys at the same time and for the first time. Now, if they had scouted me and felix, they would have found something different.

another thing, we shoudn't post in the Zero forum, since posts from march haven't been replied to.
i think the forum may have died except for the hopeful applicants.

however, it couldn't hurt to try

    EDIT:
i'm not sure they'll be scouting me for his alliance, since my direct/surrounding neighbour, Daisy04, is also of Zero X.
he's looking for a farm i think, as is the other probably.

Put up a fight or run... tough one. You put up a fight and it may look good to the alliance OR it might just be a waste. Tough one.

I just checked... I'm 2 hrs away for my Spearmen and 1:30 for my Paladins. Let me check Broady real quick.

i'm gonna hide from the first attack, (what a time for 15 of 20 merchants with 200% capacity to be out :()
i'll regroup in time for any other waves i hope, with my defensive troops.

Broady is 1 hr away for horse and 1:30 away for foot. sorry. I'd say RUN but it might look like we're weak. Is it an true attack or raid?

    'Attack on Bakery Hotel'
so he's looking for hero exp, off points, and some resources.
if every troop is gone from the village, it will be ok.
and as much resources are being spent/carted away to other villages as possible

I sent you some troops and they will arrive AFTER the attack. Maybe he'll try it again and find something TOTALLY different. :D

and on that note, i'm packing the hotel with as much wheat as my croppers can send...

I think it's coincidence. dobbin is part of the offensive at the Panther powerbase, which is where several of Val's villages are.

ok, in order to stabilise wheat production i have ordered the execution of excess scouts (reinforced a noob's village and killed them with cavalry) and i have sent my 1200 imperians to my 9c, which has plenty excess wheat.
(no major raiding for a while :()

Cantrellia Prime has 725 scouts in the village and I will upgrade that to at least 1,000 if not 1,200 over the next day or so. I never realized just how valuable scouts can be until the last few days.

    For those that don't know:
The more scouts you have, the more likely you are to kill those who scout your village. Troops matter, but not like you think. Having 2,500 troops in a village doesn't mean you will kill a party of 10 scouts, but if you have 2,500 troops and someone sends 250 scouts you can probably kill all 250 if you have 250 or more scouts of your own.

Not counting reinforcements FROM Cantrellia Major that are living at Cantrellia Prime. And, not counting reinforcements for my oasis near Cantrellia Prime, I have:

    Legionnaires: 1,000
    Praetorians: 600
Imperians: 2,000 (2,200 if reinforcements from Cantrellia Major are considered)
    Legati (scouts): 725
    Imperatoris: 10 (Yep, only ten!)
    Caesaris: 289 (1h to 300)

My oasis has 750 Legionnaires and 75 scouts.

It's definitely not an army that will repel a major offensive from a larger player, but once I finish leveling my troops (will take weeks to level them all up to 20 in both armory and blacksmith) I will be able to hold my own in most common raids.

the problem with the above technique is wheat usage.
my croppers are pretty far from Bakery Hotel, and i'm not levelling up the fields beyond 10 as i have different ideas for a future capital.

That's why I built a village right next to Cetus. I know that Cetus cannot handle a major attack unless it has troops and I'm about taped out of wheat. so... Canes will hold some troops and also provide resources. It is just a producer, not building much in the village other than that.

i'm also more hesitant to build something next to it...
the aggressive people in my 7x7 possibly hold some claim to the land nearby

it will be done, just once i'm comfortable that everywhere else i own is safe without the Hotel

Yeeeaaahhh... wouldn't build anything there either. My Zero neighbors next to Beachhead are quiet, but I sure as hell ain't building anything else there.

I think the attack on me was aimed at trying to farm me, I've not been very active today so had masses of resources when he scouted. Fortunately I got home just in time to see the attack and move them out.

unfortunately 15 merchants were busy, meaning 45000 that could've been saved was taken :(

ok, there have been 3 more scoutings from wings of Zero today
    TBonz, Potsy, and FreeC8675

the scouting on TBonz was foiled by killing all enemy scouts, but there was still an attack...

this may all be a coincidence, but you never know
