But still an interesting idea... beer glasses made from recycled car windshields!

I'm wondering if there are any additives in the glass that would be toxic. Anti-glare coatings, etc.

My guess is that any potentially harmful stuff would burn off or otherwise separate from the glass during the recycling process. Melting things tends to do that.
