Help to solve simple beam by Ritz methode in Matlab

Hi all,

I am newbe in Matlab.
CAn you help me to write Matlab code to solve the beam (V(x), M) by Ritz method?

If you can explain the Ritz method and show your current Matlab code I think people would be more apt to help you. We don't give out homework answers for free.
