Oh look! Another winter event!

For those single saps who want to come to Detroit and hang out with other single saps, we will be presenting an epic 11 hour, 23 minute screening of all three of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Director's Cut, Special Edition) at the ICHQ Media Chamber on February 14th, 2009 <3

The ICHQ Media Chamber contains one 1080p 46" display, a bunch of Sumo lounge furniture, and a dark viewing ambience. In other words, it is perfect for 11.5 hours of epicness

Are you man (or woman) enough to handle all three movies straight through? Bathroom breaks will be provided, AND THAT'S IT. <3

    do it in a theater. when RoTK came out i went. we watched the first two extended editions then a early screening of the king. that was brutal. if you're a real man you watch the hobbit, then the three extended editions.

    Just thinking about this hurts my body.

    I have a hard time sitting through a 2 hour film at home as it is... man

    my body hurts. My head. argh.

    and I want to do it.

    You get an official intermission for each movie as you swap between discs one and two. You'd also get one as you swap from one movie to the next. I didn't say they had to be long. ;)

    I suppose that works. I think that perhaps the intermissions between movies should be meal breaks. I r gun get hungre

    Leo desperately looks for a business trip boondoggle (did I just say that?) for Detroit.


    Honest, guys, I keep looking. I've had training/business trips in the last two years in Chicago, San Diego, Sacramento (at their airport right now), Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Seattle...but can't find one for Detroit. I'M STILL TRYING!
