    Pre-emptive answer to "why's it more than last year?":

    We need the fee to fully cover the costs this year. We've been subsidizing much of it every year, which we can't afford to do any more. The fee needs to cover:
    • Event tent
    • T-shirts & badges
    • Electricity & water bills
    • Port-a-potty rental
    • Hardware for infrastructure upgrades
    The fee in past years hasn't even covered the first two completely. Anywho, we hope the cost isn't a deterrent, we just can't end up poorer than we already are :D

    I cannot put in for vacation time until I have the time accrued, which means...I have to wait another two months to even get the days off.

    Wait, I thought that we were changing the dates? FC called me about it and everything. This could be a problem now.... I might be helping orphans in New Orleans this weekend! :(

    My whole damn family is coming. Will purchase tickets later today. We are driving from Dallas and stopping in Kentucky for one day to see some family. I'll post the days/route in case any one wants to caravan for part of it.

    OMG, so cheap air fares... $700 is definately affordable for almost a week of EPIC. Do you take VISA on the entry fee?

    Paid and good to go. I don't know yet if I will be arriving Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I thought I had enough to book my flight today, but not so much.

    Should be booking my flight in the next week or two to get the best prices.

    Oops. Thanks for the heads-up. Yeah I thought Greg had changed it back to the original weekend also. I registered before I looked, but I won't be there the weekend of the 20th.

    The dates in EventBrite are wrong.. BTW.... 24 - 28th of June is the Expo.

    I have changed the dates to the correct ones. I sincerely apologize for that complete fuck up. I should've had more people proof read what I was doing. :(
