Nvidia has been in a tight spot since the AMD / ATI buy out, and with Nvidia's track record with Intel it looks like the only way to stay a player in this PC market is to [url=http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50980]become the 3rd player in the CPU market[/url]. This all is very possible with Nvidia picking up the majority of Stexar's ex-staff a few months back.

With PS3 being just 4 short weeks away from launch Sony has given us a bit of info on what titles we will see on the shelves for November 17ths launch date. Sony's first-party studios will bring out Resistance: Fall of Man, NBA 07, and Genji: Days of the Blade during the console's first month. Third-party titles include Call of Duty 3, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, F.E.A.R., Madden NFL 07, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom.

Late Thursday, during a Playstation 3 event in San Francisco, Sony unveiled details on the first batch of PS3 accessories. There are no real surprises here, but for the first time, official prices have been revealed. Items like an HDMI Cable, PS3 memory card, & the PS3 Sixaxis controllers, are among the list of accessories that will be available at launch.

As I was looking for new info on the PS3 I stumbled across a video posted at YouTube.com that has Phil Harrison an Executive at Sony Entertainment showing off the interface of the PS3. Phil also took the liberty of announcing that HDMI support will ship on both retail versions of the PS3.

AMD has indicated to motherboard makers that it will advance the launch of its quad-core K8L desktop platform to the third quarter of 2007, according to sources at the motherboard makers. Previously, AMD had reportedly scheduled the launch of the K8L platform for 2008.
