Commodore now a Dutch company is taking the brand name and is testing the waters with its new High-End PC's. The new Commodore will be equipped with Nvidia’s 7950 GX2 graphics card and an AMD FX 60. Nvidia not making much of a showing at the Gaming Convention in Leipzig decided to setup a killer rig to shatter the 3DMark06 score live with a Conroe platform @ 1920x1200 resolution. The system sported a MSI board with 2 7950GX2 cards running at minus 80 Celsius, and a beautiful Conroe CPU running at 4.95GHz. The news barriers didn't stay around long for the results but as soon as we get the reports of the scores I will post them here. Add comment
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commision, Apple is recalling 1.8 million batteries. It affects 1.1 million iBooks and Powerbooks sold between October 2003 and August 2006 in the US, and 700K outside it, and may "pose a fire hazard". Add comment

It has been reported that investors are fretting over the future of Dell CEO Kevin Rollins following last week's roll call of fiery notebooks and poor financial results. To top it off Fidelity a major player in the tech sector, has dumped shares of Dell out of its portfolio. The head of Microsoft's open source software lab has extended a helping hand to Mozilla Corp. if it's interested in making sure the Firefox browser and Thunderbird e-mail client run under Windows Vista. In a posting to the Mozilla development planning discussion group, Sam Ramji, the director of the lab, said he had set aside office space for open-source developers and would make Microsoft engineers available to Firefox and Thunderbird coders. After yesterday’s news that production has not stated on the Playstation 3 a few other reports have leaked out that demo units are in circulation and are all over. I am guessing these machines are what ASUStek has been pumping out of its factories for the last month. But than again we have to take these reports with a grain of salt until we see these units with our own eyes. Possibly Leipzig, Germany will turn up a few new details on these demo units. Add comment
