Home Search Assistant; Failed deleting attempt

I've been having issues with my computer involving the Home Search Assistant, Search Extender, and Shopping Wizard. I've tried deleting them through the control panel and i get a message that the computer cannot locate the uninstall program (I'm not good with computers, so if i butcher the terms i appologize). I tried following the steps in another forum posting on deleting the HSA program, but was unsuccessful, I believe it was because I'm a little nervous when it comes to fiddling around with my computer. Is there anything I can do?

i ran HJT, but it wont let me save the log file and I don't know how else to post it. I click on the save button in HJT, and it asks me where I want to save it, but the instant i click the save button in the window, another window opens saying it can't find the file that I just saved. :wtf:

okay... maybe you could try it with a screenshot? Depending on how large your logfile is, it may take a few screens, but its the only other way I can think of to see your log.

Scan with HJT and open it to fullscreen size. Once it's done scanning, press "print screen" on your keyboard (next to Scroll Lock), then open Paint or another imaging program and click CTRL+V on your keyboard to paste the pic into the image editor. Save the image, then either upload it to your own webserver or attach it to the post. If you still have a scrollbar at fullscreen size, take one screenshot, then scroll down the rest of the way and take another.

    Sorry if this sounds confusing.
