SVT Team Attention Needed: Win XP HD space is being gobbled up.
Hello,
OK i know that is a bad subject but i wanted to catch someone's attention
First i have done all the spyware and addware checks required to post, now my machine is completly clean.
Second I have ran several antivirus programs to try and detect the source of my problem that failed also.
Third, from the previous forums they asked me to spacemonger and highjackthis. Spacemonger showed me that an error.log file from MS antivirus is takin a wooping 1.8 Gb of my hard drive space.
And last so here I am to see if i can be a guinea pig for any type of experiments.
IT started about 4 days ago, my computer suddenly started saying that i was low in HD space. Follow this link so you can get an idea of what i am trying to tell you.
Also in that forum is my highjack this file, please remember this was done in safe mode, since i am not able to log in regularly.
Again i thank if anyone can figure out what is this.
Xracer.
PS sorry for the longwinded post

There may be more, so I leave it to the team to detect.
1) Press the "Fix checked" button. Then close HijackThis.
2) Then reboot your computer.
3) Delete the folder C:\PROGRAM FILES\Toolbar\
4) Empty your recycle bin.
5) Run Windows Update and install all critical updates.
6) Make sure your anti-virus program is up to date with the latest patches. If you do not have an anti-virus program, download and install AVG Personal Edition Anti-Virus, which is free.
7) Reboot one last time.
Now run another scan with HijackThis and post a new log.
