    [STEP 1] A quick favor:
Before we begin removing malware I would like to ask you a small favor. Please go to http://virusscan.jotti.org and submit the files below for analysis and post the logs here. This will help complete SpywareShooter.com's HijackThis entry database.

    C:\Windows\RUNXMLPL.exe
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\ers_startupmon.exe
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\dc6_startupmon.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\lxcrcoms.exe

    [STEP 2] Fix HijackThis Entries:
Fix the following entries with HijackThis by placing checkmarks in the boxes next to them and clicking "Fix Checked".

    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {B17A21EA-BB5A-E4FC-7B95-C79EF1335E96} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\zoig.dll (file missing)

Ok, I think I was able to do all of your requests noted above. Here are both of the log files showing results. Interesting though, you seem to keep looking towards the Lexmark stuff.. does the printer software have anything to do with this?
Thanks again for all of your help!!

Can you please post the results from Jotti? We need to determine whether or not some entries in your log are malicious or not.

The printer software has nothing to do with the infection. The entry just looked suspicious. If you are sure it belongs to your printer, don't fix it.

Please download Killbox from this location and extract it to your desktop. Once you have done that, run Killbox and in the file box, copy and paste the file below, and click "Delete on Reboot". Restart your computer and post a fresh HijackThis log.

    File to delete (using Killbox):
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\dmsier.dll

Ewido found some malware, but it was all ignored. Can you please scan again, but this time select "Delete" next to "Set All Elements To". Once you have done that, scan again with Ewido and post a new log.

Your log is clean now. This doesn't appear to be a malware-related problem. You might get a better answer in the forum for Windows Help.
