Network monitoring?

Hey guys,
I've got 5 pc's right now on a network to a Linksys router, then a bellsouth Alcatel modem out to highspeed DSL.
I was wondering how to check to see if anyone is accessing my pc or network.
My main pc here in the office has restarted once or twice in a mnth.
Have Windows XP firewalls on, Windows antivirus on, AVG installed runs every morning, Spybot S+D Resident running.
I run all the antivirus, adaware, Spybot weekly.
Was just wondering if there is a software program I can use to observe my outgoing/incoming activities.
I do have programs like IncrediMail that checks my e-mail at regular intervals.
All that said, I don't think I'm being accessed with all my firewall, antivirus, anti adware, not to mention the router (which blocks stuff too).
But I'd like to be able to identify what stuff is coming and going.

Ethereal is probably one of the best network monitoring programs out there, and its free.
