edited November 2005 in Hardware
my computer monitor does not display even during BIOS startup.
verified that my monitor is working by pluging into another computer.
Plug in another working AGP card also no display.
What could be wrong here?

are you hearing any beeps? when you turn on the pc.
is there another monitor you can test with?

when you power on the pc, and wait a few seconds, do you hdd activity? (as in, the system booting into the os)?

Why do you think it's booting into the OS if you aren't getting any display? Also as citrix asked are you getting any beeps and what sort of other sounds are you getting?

Its booting into the OS because the HDD is running and num lock can be toggled.

    no beeping sounds

    ok, so lets see it..

can you list your hardware, at least mobo should give us a start...
also, if your mobo has a videocard onboard, has that been tested/disabled?

i have a feeling the cable is b0rked.

the cable that goes between ur screen and the videocard.
