Can't PING

edited December 2005 in Science & Tech
My client has a four system network using a router. One pc, I'll call X, can ping all other pc's, browse the internet, upload and download from the "Net".
All other PC's can access the internet, but cannot ping the X. i have change ports on the router, changed cables, but still cannot ping X.
Any ideas?
Thanks

what os is running on the X pc?
if its windows XP, is the firewall disabled, does it have a 3rd party firewall installed?

if no firewalls exist on the box, try disabling the firewall service or ICS service on the windows XP box.

    see how it goes.

    Found it guys.
They had Nortons internet security turned on.
Turned it off and it works.
    Thanks to all!
